[ukvac] Tech: WG K46xx 13"
Hi,
Just got hold of a Gorf Mini-Myte last night. Amazingly good condition,
HOWEVER. The brightness is way too high on the monitor.
The monitor in question is a 13" Wells Gardener K46xx (sorry can't remember
the xx off the top of my head) - first up has anyone got a manual
specifically for the 13" model? I can only find manual's for the 19" model.
If not, are they the same chassis??
If they are, can someone confirm whether there should be a "Black-Level"
1.5kohm variable resistor (vr201) on the back of the interface board on the
13" model?
It isn't present on my monitor, and as the screen control is already fully
down, that is about the only other thing i can think of (resistor may be
missing) to get the brightness down, apart from maybe a cap kit, although
the rest of the picture looks absolutely fine.
