Would be good to know if there was a good system out there which was almost ready to run for this.

And ideally a nice person on here who could do a suitable build image to get it all working...

I'd love a setup, but I don't have the time to build it myself.

Not gonna happen, the 'roms' are on a whole a lot bigger than the average mame ones, Batman and Daytona 3 are nearing 4 gig each compressed. There's also far too many variables between PCs for this to happen, and then you will still have to set up all your controls per game anyway depending on what equipment you have and if you want FFB.

What if I just wanted a dedicated setup... for say, Scud Race?

Id take the offer of a setup or the files , as its a pig to set up I believe.

I gave up as did not have the hardware and was just painful.

Some images on emuline or arcadepunks hasve some set up like the lighgun crisis etc/.

There was someone on the forum who had an SFF with Teknoparrot and had spent ages setting it and with a dedicated graphics card. If you could clone it :) !!!

Every time I look at teknoparrot with the forums its people having issues.

SO people who have this working a big thumbs up.

I am getting lazy on my old age. Just paid a local guy to RGH my Xbox 360 and set the games up !!

Good look with teknoparrot. I want to see if any one has any look with Rambo and with the new sinden light gun !!

The 2 main problems with TP are, a badly set up PC with lots of crappy programs running and lack of Visual runtimes installed etc (or viri software deleting files), the other is bad dumps of games.

As in you want to dump a PC into a Scud Race cab? Again you would need to do some work yourself interfacing the controls to a PC, and then configuring them all in TP, then you would need the right video card and resolutions setting up to work with the cabs CRT, so all you are really bypassing is extracting the games at this point.

I was just thinking of a pc setup with teknoparrot just to run scud race. Normal pc monitor and usb wheel.

download tp metal adition

unzip

the rest is just config your start file location in game settings.

config your controlls etc...

patches avalible on emu line

somegames require some patching to run

you gotta just read a little

on running each game, its just a bit of a pain but i guess it will get sorted eventually.

Scud Race is on the Supermodel emulator, not TP.
