Great podcast as usual fella's, sorry I never get round to doing my feedback, its often a struggle to get my score in by the deadline these days.

Rodland is a game I love, first played it on the Amiga, which meant it was one of the first games I sought out when I got in to the arcade hobby. I did own originally a huge bootleg double layer PCB, it was so big it really started to sag in the middle. I later upgraded to an original board, apparently the one I had was some kind of prototype, I bought it from Dsyde, and it was called Rit & Tam, rather than Rodland. I don't remember any slowing down, but the extra life screen was always something I just wanted to skip through and get on with the rest of game. The PCB had a one of those tall custom chips on, which if bent stopped things working. When I sold it on turned out it had some slight damaged to that chip which prevented player 2 going down. Something I'd never actually done or tried, having only ever played it one player. You mentioned it is on the PS1 Jaleco collection, it is true the game is on there, but it is the NES version, not the arcade version. I wish they would put it out in its true arcade form on a console.

Got a score in for Gemini Wing, another game I am sure I had on the Amiga back in the day and as you said in the podcast, one that was just another copied disc in my disk boxes full of about 1000 games. I've only managed to give it a 20min blast in Mame just now, got to the start of the second level after a few goes. I liked the game a lot on my try, music reminds me very much of Space Harrier. If anything could be improved on it, I'd like to see a ship speed up to help dodge things, and perhaps a weapon that can shoot below/behind. Its very hard to deal with the enemies that circle and creep up behind.

Anyhow, keep up the good work, look forward to listening to the next podcast.

Cheers
