Happy New Year Vic and Shaun - and to all the children of the pence!
Many
thanks for your podcasts over the past 10 months. They've been a ray of
sunshine in these dark times, and the soundtrack to my various DIY
shenanigans. Micraculously, and despite your arcade themed silliness, no
accidents have ensued.
Well done Shaun, on
your Mouser high score. That's really impressive. I struggled with the
hate bats, and had to throw the towel in. But they did inspire me to
break out my BBC model B for one of the few bits of retro-gaming I
managed to fit in over the holidays. What on earth could that have been,
I hear you ask? The answer, of course, is Chuckie Egg. Remember that
one? After competing the first 8 levels, the game goes back to level
one, but with the massive duck coming out it's cage to swoop after you.
The other game I played was Radical Radial....
