Awesome as ever Alex and Vic!

Now off to play PANG! I bet there's some brilliant players on this one. I hope more people have a go.

Excellent podcast (again) glad to hear you brought up my game (that should have been in an arcade) choice this week. I actually did a bit more research, apparently the chap that made it was doing an updated version, but the trail ends on how far he got with it.

Don't forget for your world audience listeners, Pang is known as Buster Brothers (in the US), isn't it also known as Pomping World too somewhere.

Was thinking one feature you could have (as you both seem very clued up on restorations) is have a Restoration tip section. One week could be how to put on vinyl, one week cleaning table top glass etc.

Keep up quality podcasts.

I won't enter the compo, as I don't really need a naughty boy pcb, so won't dilute the pot of potential winners with an entry from me :) great idea though.

Listened to all 20 over the past week, great stuff and the quality is improving with every episode

A restoration tips section as above would be a good idea, and as for challenges I would love for you two to give Konami's Battlantis a go, love that game!

Cheers, Richard

Nice pod guys...some audio distortion for the walk-around, however this is to be expected when Vic's had more than 2 shandys! ;-)

More balanced pod this week. :)

"Mind Blowing" lol...indeed it still is, and yes I had a lot of Rum n Cokes (many to many).
Man...it was hot in that Arcade!!!

Keep up the good work,
Cheers,
DaveO.

A small addition to your bug report:

You can avoid enemies bothering you if you destroy part of the fence, leaving it looking like an L on its side. This way the enemies run into the foot of the L and don't go round it.

Once in a while an enemy will not be able to get below you due to a spawning enemy getting in the way and will come round the L but they generally run around above you and don't seem to come for you.

See pic...

We had this game in our arcade back in the day and it lasted about a week as everybody discovered the bug and it made no money. I was playing it out of boredom the day it was removed and was on 14M when it was unplugged.

Needless to say, I got my 10P back.

Cheers Garry - an interesting play tactic!

I believe the PCB we have up for a prize is the Cinematronics version (Don't quote me on that!), so would be more playable.

So - come on guys (and girls) - enter the compo! We need more entrants!

Man I never saw Naughty Boy in the arcade. Favouredson you must have been near awesome arcades!

I worked in one on and off in late '81 and then most nights in '82-'83.

It had about 25+ cabs and only the money takers stayed for any length of time, the rest were swapped fairly regularly so we got to see many games in that period.

In the summer of '82 there were no fewer than 9 arcades/shops/cafes with 10 or more cabs in town which, as we are not a coastal town or particularly tourist friendly*, is quite amazing.
