Great Podcast again chaps, thought I'd make sure I put my feedback up straight away before work sucks my will to type again like the last couple of pods. I did not actually know what this weeks game was like, I had assumed it was a shooter, I love qix though, looking at a video of it yes, very much in the vein of arkanoid graphically, I see it is on one of those Taito PS2 collections, I'll have to dig it out for a play, as my sort of game. I remember playing a game called New Fantasia on MAME, which had rather naughty pictures revealed and had cool music, but would then bring up pinheads face if you did something wrong. Funny stuff.
I knew it would not take long for Shaun to surcome to the darkside of needing to own a cab, yes Shaun a nice little jamma cab is what you need........6 months later, it'll be one Vertical and one Horizontal. haha.
Good to hear of recent restorations, I've got quite a few that need doing now, Narc, Millipede, Paperboy and your fav Moon Cresta. You should do a tips section on fixing stuff up.
Going back to the 1942 Podcast, hey 1943 is cool, I like the sequels, I particularly remember 1943 as my local newsagent had 3 Silverline 19" cabs in a row running MK2, Punisher and 1943, I remember watching some guy playing on it for ages, smoking away too (can't believe it now thinking back that teenagers could just stand smoking at the back of the newsagent indoors no less!) I like what I saw so much I went and bought it for the Amiga.
Killing gameshow on the Amiga is awesome, so was LED Storm, used to have both of those back in the day.
