It's "Jump Bug".

Awesome, thanks for this. This is one of the reasons I love these podcasts as they make me aware of games I probably should've but have never heard of.

This one looks like one that I will really enjoy. Looking forward to trying it tonight.

Cheers Neil.

Great Podcast again chaps, thought I'd make sure I put my feedback up straight away before work sucks my will to type again like the last couple of pods. I did not actually know what this weeks game was like, I had assumed it was a shooter, I love qix though, looking at a video of it yes, very much in the vein of arkanoid graphically, I see it is on one of those Taito PS2 collections, I'll have to dig it out for a play, as my sort of game. I remember playing a game called New Fantasia on MAME, which had rather naughty pictures revealed and had cool music, but would then bring up pinheads face if you did something wrong. Funny stuff.

I knew it would not take long for Shaun to surcome to the darkside of needing to own a cab, yes Shaun a nice little jamma cab is what you need........6 months later, it'll be one Vertical and one Horizontal. haha.

Good to hear of recent restorations, I've got quite a few that need doing now, Narc, Millipede, Paperboy and your fav Moon Cresta. You should do a tips section on fixing stuff up.

Going back to the 1942 Podcast, hey 1943 is cool, I like the sequels, I particularly remember 1943 as my local newsagent had 3 Silverline 19" cabs in a row running MK2, Punisher and 1943, I remember watching some guy playing on it for ages, smoking away too (can't believe it now thinking back that teenagers could just stand smoking at the back of the newsagent indoors no less!) I like what I saw so much I went and bought it for the Amiga.

Killing gameshow on the Amiga is awesome, so was LED Storm, used to have both of those back in the day.

My high score attempt on JumpBug as below. I had hoped to really give this one some play, as even though I had never heard of it (shame on me), it really appealed to me with the style of gameplay.

Alas however work has once more got in the way, so this was after about an hour of play and got as far as the underwater level.

Which is probably as crap as my score, but there you go...........

Today I remembered another Amiga-game that should have been in the arcades back in the day:

FULL CONTACT

I do not really remember the gameplay but I know the attrackt mode blew me away.

Other news from S9 are that had two horrible weeks, first missed 75USD Battlezone as my friend Thomas from Kentucky was out of town, meanwhile a guy from Germany had a ZZZ Tron I wanted to buy but a Pinball-guy, who bought a Pin from him, told him that this machine is valuable so my 150Euro offer did´nt work, he wanted to have 500....I know it would say a lot if I say 150 and accept 500 later but had no choice. So what happened is that, while I organized the shipping, he listet the machine with an even higher price on eBay and was very proud that it sold within minutes.

And last but not least at all I missed a 200bucks Baby Pacman......so in the next weeks something should work.
After all we have an german saying: Pech im Spiel - Glück in der Liebe but there is no romance at the moment
