Glad the Arcadia game got a mention. Can't wait to get mine up and running. Fixed a few squiffy things on it and putting the back cab together and soon an arcadia multi system will live!

One thing you may want to do is a time contents list. Listing the time where stuff is in the track so people could FF to a specific part. It helps with finding stuff to re listen too again.

Have you got your new mics up and running yet?

I also think maybe you should do a "live" recording at the RGP meet and maybe drag in a few guests!

Anthony - I've only just found out how to use 'markers' on Audacity, which will aid the editing no end. I presume they are the same kind of things as what you are suggesting. If you could pm me some info on how to do this to the finished mp3, I'd be happy to do that. Good idea!

We are also gong to do the live thing at RGP, but probably just some interviews and some chats to gamers. virtvic2014-02-11 23:19:44

Oh - just a sec. I've just realized what you are on about now. Doh. Got confused with audio markers. Yes - I could do a list of when things are said etc.

I think the guests idea is a good one.

What about having additional guests via Skype or similar, whilst you're recording the normal show? They can be involved in the the score challenge, give their opinions about the chosen game, and also maybe do a brief question and answer session on the part they have in the arcade world?

People like Jon, and Tony, would be good choices for obvious reasons

But you could also have other interesting characters in the community?

Sounds good, but I'll have to learn how to use Skype and they'll have to be ready at a moments notice as we record when we both have an hour or so to spare.

Cool! I don't think it is feasible to do it all the time, but maybe have a special guest on the odd occasion? You could even try and get people like John from John's arcade or members from DLF. It doesn't necessarily need to be only UK people?
