Good podcast yet again. I think the other 'Rescue' game that Alex was talking about may be Galaxy Rescue, which, according to MAME, was an official license of Lunar Rescue.

Enjoyed the latest podcast... shame you are dropping to bi-weekly but totally understand why.

A couple of thoughts and comments...

With your Virtual Arcade... I think it would be good if you had already selected a top ten and then each week you had to remove one if you added the game of the week in.

Secondly, I think it would be nice to have some genre based top tens... what each of you think for shooters, fighting, platform, etc

Lastly, a game to add to your list with a nice Bee theme is Beezer. It looks frustratingly hard, got real nice side art and interestingly was a conversion kit to Galaxian...

Great idea! I'd certainly be interested to hear what the guy's top shooters are, and other people's for that matter.

Just to expand on what I said earlier... it was great to hear that Alex would want to have a Rescue cab in his Virtual Arcade but I think what would have been nicer is to here him deliberate about which one of the cabs woudl have to go to make room. I know you will get there eventually with a full arcade but that might be months or even years.

Just a thought...

Just managed 69,821. I'm not very good at this. I'm just taking advantage of the transporter bonuses.

Very much enjoyed this one (with the others) you will be pleased to hear the ten pence arcade has broken many cherrys for me and helped the economy.
1) It was the first podcast I have ever listed to.
2) It was the first time I have ever put anything on modern phone (which I had to figure out how to use and am only using now so I can put the podcast on it)
3) I had to go and buy some headphones so I could then listen to the podcast on my long commute home, managed to get through 3 of them (9, 1 & 2)

Really great stuff lads, keep it up.

I never used my fancy phone properly until I started listening to podcasts either!
