A bit of humour and some cool arcade content from two of the best podcasters in their own houses.

You can listen at http://tenpencearcade.co.uk/ or iTunes. Thanks.

Another great episode... and i'm with you Vic. Mappy looks and sounds great but there is something about it that stops me loving it... maybe it just needs alot more play time.

Great to be able to play along again on Mappy and I still do like the game but I can understand people finding it frustrating. I totally did the thing where you learn more about the game and try to max the score by collecting items in pairs and catching the big cat hiding behind stuff and as a result died more and scored less!

I never knew there was an order to collect the items in that gave a higher score so I'll go back and see if I can get to 100K with a bit more play.

Also my monitor is missing blue at the minute which combined with my colour blindness could make it hard to differentiate the mouse copper and the cats when jumping up and down on the tramampolines.

Regarding the 60 in 1 I haven't given it enough thought to come up with my dream list of vertical games but I always thought that Commando was a strange omission from it given the likes of 1942 is on there.

Ta also for the many shout outs for my Vectrex game ... your last two podcasts (listened to twice each) have helped me through the many hours of gluing boxes, making up carts, and packing up parcels... if you could get the next one out for Monday that would be great as that's when I get the next batch of PCBs! ;)

1942 is incredibly popular mate... it's actually the very first game I played on a cab in my own house, via the 60-in-1 board no less. Nobody round my house has ever asked where Commando was but a few people have asked for 1942 or 1943.

Yeah, I meant given that a similar era Capcom game (1942) is on there rather than "what the heck is 1942 doing on there when Commando isn't!"

As kids I think we were equal fans of both games... both in the arcade and on the C64. I have both game PCBs but would be nice if Commando was also on the 60 in 1

Unless you were listening very carefully, you might have missed the highlight of this episode... Vic's impersonation of Centipede!

Absolutely brilliant.

More game impersonations please guys!
