Huge thanks to everyone who came and especially those who brought cabs, games or things for people to see. It doesn’t happen without you! Great to see so many of you there

There were LOADs of tickets sold and I’m sure the event will have raised lots of money for the museum, they do tons of great stuff (not just excellent games nights!).

I even played a few games myself this year!

Another wonderful meet up. Roads on the way were bollocks, but still well worth the crappy journey to get there. getting back was super easy though. I blame the sat nav for dragging me thru the town centre

Many thanks to Phil, Will, Ian and whoever else was masterminding the logistics, setup etc. The staff at the museum were all super friendly and helpful as usual

You expect it to be a relatively small event, but from the pics it looks like there were a ton of great games and lots of tickets sold.
Very impressive by the looks of it, the South needs great events like this! Well done all involved.

It was a great night, thanks to all involved in setting it up... great ticket sales.

Lovely to chat to folks old and new about arcades and Vectrex and I did manage to play quite a few games. I want the Gee Bee cocktail cab!

Some photos from the night here (too painful to upload to the forum)...

That looks brilliant. These smaller scale enthusiast events are the best. Shame that most of them are so far away.

Looks a great meet, sorry I couldn't make it, especially with it being relatively close

Had a really good night as usual, been to all 3 so far. It's so good to have an event that I can get to in less than 2 hours, every other one is normally a 4+ hour drive from the wilds of Norfolk!!

Glad so much was raised for the museum, they really do have an amazing collection, so many memories from my early days with computers.

I would also like to thank all the people who praised my plug & play Ultragun

and also were enthusiastic about my Slice Tester

What a great event! I legged it up from North London & got the last(ish) train back. Thanks to VirtVic as well - had a good chat & a few games on the nice little ISIS cab! Also thanks to Dave for bringing the track n field/hyper sports cab.... see you in Leeds perhaps for another game!

Hey,

Is this a good place to take kids?

They have a Mario Kart tournament on Friday and was looking at taking the kids along to it. I'm a bit concerned as my son is autistic and sometimes struggles in these environments, especially if it's very noisy or gets too busy, but he really loves Mario Kart ( I do too lol)

I've only been once, for this event, I got there around 3pm and it was really quiet and not busy at all. When it re-opened for the arcade experience then it was concentrated in one place and so felt a lot busier, certainly louder.

A Mario Kart tournament is probably going to be somewhere between the two.

I would contact the museum directly, they want to make it accessible to people no matter what their needs and may be able to offer advice or help to accommodate you.
