Enjoyable read! I was wondering how the hell you got the cabs around that twist in the stairs until I realised you'd took the monitors out. Still would of been tricky though I bet.

Appreciate the feedback gents - ta.

Getting the cabs up there was hell. As it happens, we are moving house within the next few weeks, so they may well stay up there. The thought of dismantling them and getting them down without killing a removal man in the process is haunting me every day.

Thankfully the new games room will be on the ground floor of the new house so that's something.

That's a very nice games room. I enjoyed seeing the progress through the blog.

I feel your pain with moving those machines up there, I remember when I used to have to strip cabs like that to get them up to my second floor flat.

What a nightmare that you are now moving, I hope you are not really going to abandon then lol

Moving, after all your efforts! Noooooo!

You're talents as a writer are wasted on them thar internets. You should offer them up to Retro Gamer, Edge etc.

Really.

You made Great use of such a small and awkward space Tony,I liked that set up it looked very accessible and very retro.
As humans we always want more and its nice to keep a lid on the hobby with a smaller space as i think we appreciate more...(Bollocks)

Just read this and what a great write up that was Tony, you made a great job of the space you actually had and also to get a good company to give you a 2 week turnaround on such a job is a real credit to everyone involved
