Got 2 more jamma cabs awaiting conversion, one to a Phoenix, and one to Track & Field. Just resting for a few days after the effort of dragging those down the garden

It's a great size and even with the extra height insulated roof still lower than the 2.5m planning threshold. A good space to cost ratio for an insulated shed compared to a modular garden room! I've not got the heating on yet but its warm and dry when outside is cold and wet.

Great selection of games and with T&F yet to come!  Great work.

Muddy has supplied the T&F marquee with the US graphics, and a matching CPO for an Electrocoin midi, and I've got a CP with leaf buttons (no joysticks) so it should look (and play) the nuts. Just waiting on the board to be serviced now.

Nice, I've something similar ordered.
It comes with 40mm kingspan for the floors and 100mm for the ceiling with cladding to cover over.

I'll probably do the insulation on the walls towards the end of the summer when the weather gets colder again, although I think i'll use batons, foam and tongue and groove cladding or maybe even ply.

What type of membrane did you use between the insulation and the outer walls?

How are you finding keeping it warm in the winter? What heating did you go with in the end? I'm thinking of just getting a single panel heater, one of the new style ones with a temperature probe that you set a minimum heat, so say 10degrees and it will come on as needed to keep it over that heat and you can manually boost it when you are going out there. This is the one I'm looking at

I plan on keeping a pinball, a defender(well multi williams convert) and maybe a second woodie(DK) in the future, along with a very small ikea 2 seater and my games consoles.

Sorry for late reply, only just saw your comment!

I didn't use a membrane, just anair gap between the insulation and the outer wall, plus a plywood skin over the battons before plasterboard. So no damp there!

Heating I used a cheap panel heater, works a treat and is always warm in there, even in frosty temperatures.

How are you progressing?

That's good to know, I'd a wee accident with a chopsaw and a finger a couple weeks ago so delayed the order a bit, but back on track now, pulling up some trees this weekend and then foundations pads going in next week. Shed should arrive in second week in April, it should be fun putting it together.
I'm going to do 40mm foil backed foam in the floor and fibre/wool encapsulated in the ceiling just because I have it to hand. I'm still unsure of the route I'll take on the walls

update on the arcade shed lineup after filling the last space with my first cabinet purchase, an Electrocoin Midi supplied by muddymusic a while back, which has been resting in a friend's garage.

Current plan:

- Fix the Star Wars, got as far as the HV section which needs an overhaul after repairing deflector and AR2. Still playing blind!

- Tidy Up Outrun - just needs bezel, wheel badge and some artwork. Rest works a treat

- Finish off the restoration of BAS #1, which will be my vertical multi-game machine - just needs coin doors reattaching

- Restore BAS #2 as per the first one, this one for horizontal multi-game. Monitor works but lots of TLC needed

- Convert Electrocoin #1 into dedicated Snow Bros - have PCB just cosmetics needed

- Convert Electrocoin #2 into dedicated Track & Field. Have the button only control panel, overlay and marquee, just awaiting repairs to board

Apologies to virtvic for not having the matching BAS and Electrocoin cabinets together :)

Out of interest, where did you get this building from? were the walls already pre-built?

Got this from the garden centre in Brentwood, I think the company is Essex Garden Rooms or something like that. The walls, floor and roof came in solid pieces with insulation inside, I then had the internal walls lined with plywood and the plasterboard put on last.

That the one off the M25 past the Petrol Station on the Left then just before the Lights on the Left?

Looking great!

What size armoured cable did you install in the end ?

I'm not really sure - I had a sparky come in to wire up the consumer panel, and he upgraded the existing armoured cable we already had in to power the old shed lighting and sockets.

So it was a big one!
