Great video!

I have some good memories of this place having gone when I was in my early teens on A school trip.

Sadly I did not get to enjoy it as much as I would of liked (being a on a school trip I had no real money lol)

But I remember it being magical and its funny you mention the Sonic 1p crush machine as I have/had one somewhere. I was thinking about it a few weeks ago wishing I knew where it was!!

Hopfully I will find It again some time soon....

Really wish it was still open so I could go again and really enjoy it!

yeh I remember going near the end and seeing all the emptiness and few hardcore gamers on the usual suspect, and there was a lot of redemption ticketed machines..

when we first went I remember r360 was incredible

and space harrier

future entertainment shows London were good also.

I went on bumper cars with dexter fletcher at games master live London event

also me and my mate 1996 I always remember because it was fifa 96 4 player adapter for the sega megadrive….

fifa stand had George best & calum best and me and my mate played them 4 player on the new 4 play adapter

I think it was filmed for sky game box..

I scored (after the whistle ) fifa through me a England ea sports football shirt ,

It likely was the same one moved, there weren't that many in the UK.
When it was at the troc it was upstairs on the balcony above the elevator, so looking up behind you from the elevator you'd see the car and screen behind it.

Sounds like the virtuality area yep

Hang gliding was definitely a better experience than the stand in the pod or tank cockpit one.

And there were of course full 8x player racing setups with the face cameras and little monitors on the top left of the screens to see players reactions and stuff. Sometimes they had a staff member commentating on the races in a very sh*t way

I went to that one, I remember some kind of SF2 tourno going on, on the big screen, I went to get a coke from the drink stand and remember Dexter was standing right at the very side, almost behind the scenes having a cheeky beer and fag, we got him to sign our tickets, still have that in the loft.

didn't it also used to have Alien war based there at some point,I remember going through it with my mate, must have been late 80's or early 90's,I remember seeing the vr stuff and a ridge racer sit down

I remember going to alien war in Dublin, was amazingly great, loved it!

Also remember having a go of our of those vr machines. Wasn't getting anywhere in the game, just standing there looking around with a gun. Turned out the operator had been shouting at me to "shoot the table in front of you!" in order to progress. Didn't hear him and then the time ran out.

I never played them again :p

Might also have a video on Sega World Bournemouth + the other different UK Sega Parks coming soon, any pics or videos of these that people may have would help massively as there isn't much in the way of them around :-/

I do believe there was also a laserdisc from Sega World London used in the reception sold on Ebay a while back, but never has been ripped and uploaded to anywhere since. If anyone on here has it, would be great if you could do so. Tedward2019-07-14 19:18:08

i've seen those r360 pics before, but not sure if i've seen the video though. sega hamley's was ace. a much smaller space but still ace. last time i went into hamley's i think that part of the space is still there in the basement/ lower ground floor. according to the internet, there used to be a sega arcade in romford of all places which is where i live now on the top floor of debenhams or something. i try to imagine that as well whenever i'm there. i dont think there are any pics of that though.

Wow yeh that’s it
I took part in the street fighter
One it was games master live
I’m a massive linked up screen

I got beat I was like 5th
just before the 3 for the live episode,
Don’t think I even had a SNES at the time
But I played it at the arcade.

Another funny thing- I wish I could find it
My bother bless him rip
He’s dead now... he had cystic fibrosis..
He had a SNES... it we got burgled....
They took his SNES....
And Ester ranson and Woolworths found out
Some how I don’t know how but they gave him
SNES and more games than he had...
They said to him in Woolworths what games did they nick son
And being a bit of a lad he was like that one...
And that one... eerrrr and that one....
He came home right chuffed!!!’ ????
