We’re having our first competitive gaming event down at Neon Knights in August 25th. (Sunday of the bank holiday weekend)
It’s an Arcade Football Tournament based over 3 Arcade games. In this case, Taito Cup Final, Super SideKicks 2 and Virtua Striker 2000.1.
It will be for 32 entrants and will follow a World Cup style format with group stages, then knockout rounds.
Winner takes home £150 with second taking £50 and third getting £25.
Entry is £25 a ticket and we will be supplying food included with the ticket.
We’re just waiting a couple of days to confirm but we expect this to be a licensed event. If so we may throw in a beer with the ticket as well.
We’re hoping to live stream the knockout stages and have some fun like commentating on the finals and having interviews and stuff.
