I tried to keep the cutting to a minimum, but ended up having to chop in into pieces :shifty:

Cracks can be filled and then sprayed with a nice flat matt black to hide any imperfections.

I was also lucky enough to pick up some original side pods. The cab required repro artwork as it was in bad condition to start off with.
The OG's aren't in NOS state, but I recon they'll clean up nicely.

Got this little 1 player cab delivered today. Needs work, but bought it on a whim back in November as it's a style I like, was going cheap and no-one else seemed interested in it.
Probably going to be a while before I get stuck into this, but noticed a few interesting features. Top has bolt holes that look factory. Maybe for a second monitor for people to watch gameplay?
Loom has a converter, but I haven't worked out what pinout it's converting from/to yet.
Konami Mikie sticker on the back. I guess it's just a license sticker for an original game board.
I think it should clean up nicely, once I have time and space to tackle it. Currently in my kitchen. Lol

Currently all my cabs are in the sitting room and now kitchen. Lol. Only got 4, though. Work is due to start on my games room in a couple of weeks, thankfully. Can't wait to get my living space back.
So, do you think the holes on top of this cab would be for a monitor? It's the only thing I could think of.

Unfortunately it's missing the payout hopper but since it's cents and dollars it probably wouldn't be much use anyway.
So it works mechanically but just doesn't payout and I'm guessing hold doesn't work but it's good enough for me.
They also offered me a more modern hyper viper (not the original but the more modern one) for £50 untested but was working last time it was powered on.
I didn't have the space but if there's anyone in the Stoke-on-Trent area who would like to take the risk let me know and I'll get you in contact.

kind of arcade related i suppose, i was looking at getting some seats for my cocktail and decided before i paid £150 for one, i would just try one from amazon instead and see how it held up, well pleased with this at £38

And it doesn't fit in the house. Oh well.
Very nice! May I ask where you found this? Was it from Hantarex themselves? I managed to get hold of a 25" version of one of these a good few years ago now, not NOS but as good as. Unfortunately where I was storing it (along with some of my other stuff) got a bit damp so the frame's got a bit rusty underneath on one side but the monitor itself is fine. Came with a bunch of arcade monitors from an op I think, not sure why they had one as I was fairly sure these were either used in stuff like video walls or bowling alley scoreboard monitors etc.

Oh wow, that's great that you got it! Hope it wasn't too expensive! Would have loved to get one of these!
