Bloody Evri/Hermes, due to deliver to me from Amazon last week, the Van broke down, which is fair enough, then some Muppet in the offices puts my parcel as 'Damaged' and it gets returned to Amazon! We had a great Woman Evri driver for a while, but she got assaulted and her Van was stolen, in our Village!

I did get my package the next day, posted through the letterbox so the 'unable to deliver' had nothing to do with anyone being in at the time of delivery.

But like I said, that's normal for evri.

Could be worse , I mean they could just dump an electronic item in a grit bin at work Friday night so its has to spend 2 days and nights in cold temperatures !!

The most recent Evri driver I've had just sticks stuff by my front door step, in clear view of the street and walks off, doesn't even bother knocking on the door. Luckily I got an email last time to say it had been delivered.

i started saying those items were left outside and were stolen, it happened a few times and i got shot to bits in here for it for getting the drivers in trouble

it's not happened once since

I have had same scam text at uncanny timing … I think they have somehow hacked a database.
I get “O2” calls offering discounts and they ask you to quote the number that would be text to you. Presumably they have access to part of the O2 systems so they trigger security codes being sent to you. Worrying. Any odd calls/texts/emails, I now forward the number to the National Cyber Security Centre:

Calls/texts, send the number to 7726
Emails, to report@phishing.gov.uk

Then block the daft *****

When they call you they will also be on the O2 website ready to click the forgotten password link they then enter your phone number and a text message will be sent to you from the genuine O2 website with a security code.

They'll tell you this code is needed to verify you are who you say you are and are eligible for the discount.

When you give them the code they will enter it into the O2 website with your phone number and have access to your account.

First thing they will do is lock you out.

Then when they're in your account they will order expensive items like iPhone's and iPad's. Then they'll contact you back again and ask if it's you that has made the order as its unlike you and they want to check for security reasons. You'll say you never purchased the items and want them cancelled, they'll then tell you the items are cancelled but have already been dispatched and you will need to return them. The address they give you for the return belongs to them. They end up with the items and you get the bill.

They're scum.

Blocking and reporting is the best thing to do.

I have to say that one looks genuine, especially if the url is royalmail.com

Guessing she got a card through the door.
Yeh card through the door..
Strange thing is I got everything today I’m not expecting anything so will be interesting to see what it is ?

I’m going to ask to see the item open it first

Not sure they will let you open it, but AI had similar so went to the parcel. Office and from the packaging could tell it was a DVD I'd already reported missing as had been 3 weeks since posting. The sender had put fake stamps on it so it got held which is why it took so long and a charge put on it, told them to keep it and didn't have to pay.

I would not put it past them. Fedex are scum of the earth who work with a scum of the earth debt collection agency. From my experience that is my opinion of them. Rant over
Thought I’d give an update on an issue I’ve had with FedEx.

They tried to charge VAT on an eBay purchase from Japan, but I’d already paid this at checkout. After numerous emails - the people / AI responding are astoundingly thick - they’ve waived the nonsense fee.

FedEx claimed - despite me repeatedly sending them photographic evidence that VAT had already been paid - that the seller failed to declare this on the invoice. It was, as clearly shown by the “GB 365 6085 76 CODE: PAID” on both the invoice and packaging!

The charge has been cancelled by FedEx, but it’s taken me nearly 3 months to get through to these boneheads.

My suspicion is FedEx try this on routinely and it’s a nice little earner for them. Filthy company.
