Tip when calling PayPal Customer Services

So, I needed to call the other day to sort an issue. I got one of those call ID numbers from the PayPal site, and gave them a ring...

into the usual hell that is the computerized, voice recognition menu system.

After a while of being asked to speak this-that-and-the-other, I finally snapped and...

computer: "Please say more about the problem you have"

me: "I just want to speak to someone, you blithering idiot!"

<short pause>

computer: "OK"

<sound of call being put through>

operator: "Hello, my name is Amy. How can I help?"

Made me laugh, that did.

So, if you call and want to speak to an actual HUMAN, just insult the computer.

I will have to try this with other automated call centres...

never swear at them though,I was banned from selling on my original ebay account I opened in 1999,because I lost it with them on the phone after someone screwed me out of £40.The stupid thing is I just opened another account using a different card,not that I sell anything on there these days as it's even worse for scammers now than it used to be
