Looking at a pole position bootleg called top racer.
It's running code but stopping during it's self check.

What's puzzling me is the two CPUs (the empty sockets near the bottom of the picture). I'm sure they were Z80s and have tried swapping them out with known workers.
The sockets are currently empty because now I'm no so sure they are supposed to be Z80.
I checked the clock on those two chips and they are stuck high. Following the traces they are connected to a resistor pack to +5V and nothing else.
All I can find is what might be a clock signal on pin 30.
Anyone own this bootleg that could enlighten me?
