Track n Field screen garbage

Hi all.

Could anyone give me any pointers on where to start with this please? Im assuming because stuffs actually being drawn to the screen it shouldn't be a big job. I did the old ROM pull and re seat. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. It's my mates and he's coming down on Monday so would be great if I could get it sorted

Normally the ram on the bottom board , Next to the program roms. 6116 type ram. First make sure you have removed and cleaned all socket chips & checked the voltages.

check power, and crank up 5v in my experience, this is the boot screen, but your not getting passed it by the sounds of it.

Generally you need around 5.2v on these.

I have 2 other track n fields that work in this cab. I’ll defo look at later. Thanks for replies

ok so voltage was 4.8v. I kept turning it up and stopped at 5.4v. The RAM is soldered on the board. Next job will be to check the RAM.

5.2 your max realy mate , you removed and cleaned the roms next to the ram first ? If you can verify them. Have you a 6116 you can piggy back with ?
