Hi folks, I’ve got an Astro city cab that I’m working on that I bought as a shell about 10 years ago, inside is a transformer that I believe is a step down that should be fine to use but I wanted to double check if anyone had seen anything like it before?
The label seems to suggest that it can take between 240-220v and output 100v but honestly I’m unsure and I can’t find info on it online.

are they the only wires?

If you connect the left black and the white to mains 240v you could check with a meter if your getting 100v out the 2nd black and red which should be right
the ones Ive took out my driving cabs have 100v and 12v wires other side but only 210-240v in the other

if that's the power supply number I'd say that transformer is the original stepdown for monitor :)
edit, or did they have stepdown, not sure with being jap cabs but others more familiar will answer that but certainly Sega item with that number

I think as it shows 300VA output on the 100v line i'd say it's for a monitor. Should be more than enough for a 29" monitor, Hantarex recommend 100VA output at 128v for a 14"-20" Hanty 9000 for example.

Thanks folks, you reckon that this will be enough to power the NVS-4000 PSU too or would it be worth me trying to find something more suitable?
The cab came standard with the NVS but the wiring had been hacked to shit in the past so I can’t really use that as a basis
