TRON Uprising

I just watched episode 1 on Disney XD called Beck's Beginning and am posting to recommend it to all TRON fans. The artwork and music is great and the story is set in the grid between the two movies. As with all TRON movies, the vehicles and action sequences are stylish and very cool.

This episode shown on Sky yesterday is a preview to the series that has 18 episodes. I am not sure when it is due to air but one to watch out for.

far from classic imo, but still a decent film, and worth it for the arcade scene alone.

Classic would be a large stretch imo!

But if you had any interest in the classic original its well worth a watch, although i wouldnt be blowing 20 on a blu ray or anything!

Didn't like Tron Legacy. Loved the soundtrack though

I don't think you should watch Tron Legacy expecting something similar to the original. The sequel was a not done because of the artistry/legacy of the original, it was done because of the mighty $$$. So go into it expecting it to be sh*t and you'll actually quite enjoy it

. Yeah, it's cheap, shallow and not very intelligent, but it's some good escapism with cool special effects, lots of nods to old games, slamming hot women and a kick arse soundtrack by Daft Punk. What more do you need
