I need some competition!
Some great scores there you guys.My personal best is just over 1.000.000 (clocked it),but sadly yes again I have to friggin proof as it was around 84'(ish) something like that....Not played or seen a dedicated in what seems like centuries
...Got it on MAME but doesn't play well without the proper joystick and spinner...
I can remember once you got to 'User' level the cone and light cycles changed pattern every 4 level...not sure what dip settings it was ?

Phil, I just wanted to personaly thank you for taking your machine to Nerg. It meant a great deal to me to be able to play it one more time. The last time I saw one in the flesh was at DisneyQuest Downtown Disney about 2 years ago, and I was mortified to find that the joystick was about as bad as it gets on it....not that I would have had time to have a game anyway, as I had the bairns with me !
The score I got yesterday was in some ways quite fortuitous, in that once I hit User, I couldnt remember how to predict the patterns that are coming up. You need to be able to predict the Assembly and the Pascal light cycles, or you are in trouble. The light cycles always go hand in hand with the tanks, so if you are not predicting, and get lucky and see the tanks first, you can see what the cycles are going to be if you get 5 tanks or recognisers. It was in that way I got a bit lucky really.
I find it quite amazing that after all these years I can remember every single Tron pattern, but wor lass sends me to Asda for something, and I have forgotten what for before I even get there !
