With the exception of today, ukvac (or u-k-vac or uk-vac or uk_vac or
u.k.v.a.c.) seems to be averaging about 1 post every 3 days. Everyones
gone over to jamma+ Not suprising as they don't have a flame war just
becase some newbie asks which way up the jamma connector should go and
the "old techs" get all wound up and start giving it the "I remember
the days before Luke Wells joined the mailing list and it were all nowt
but fields" speech. lol

I'm pinballing on Sunday, hope to see some familiar faces

Is Jamma+ a yahoo group? Or is it a forum?
Or shall I just do a search on google?

Maybe everyone has but its still jamma+, not 1979 to 1983 which is the period some people are interested in.

I hope there is enough interest in this list to keep it alive.

Although true there is alot of jamma talk on jamma+ as it has
attracted alot of younger newbies who have grown up in the double
dragon to street fighter 2 era, there is also a fair ammount of
discussion on classics too, especially in the tech section.

I'll shutup now talking about other lists on here, there has to be a
rule about that :)

Anyway I am sure ukvac will be alive for many years to come, its just
a shame most of the regular posters are now silent

Of course there is. There's also the fact all the guys that are helping
other people now over on that forum *will* at some point become the *old
techs* and give up repeating the same fucking shit over and over again.

They'll then flame post and say things like 'use the fucking search'

Mind you there's also the fact you already mentioned not everyone gives a
fuck about some of the games those guys like.

I hover around forums and are a regular at Jamma+.It does seem to be mainly new vids discussion-but that is obvious because the chances are that the first cab purchased will be more than likely a jamma because of cost and i am sure you will agree that it is obviously easier to obtain such a cab off e-bay for example.

Oh yeah i hope to see meet ukvac at pin show tom,i think i have only ever met pobtastic and Dave`o from VAC and one other who was with Dave at CGE2005
