ukVac Revival Retro Events Partnership

I’m pleased to announce that ukVac will be officially partnering with Revival Events and be in attendance at their first event taking place this year at Dunstall Park Racecourse, Wolverhampton on the 18-19th May. See all the details on the event web site: http://www.revivalretroevents.com

ukVac will be working closely with the organisers to promote classic arcade gaming and ukVac with banners, flyers and whatever else we can conjure up!

As already talked about on the ukVac forum, the organisers are keen for us to provide machines for the event in return for complimentary entry and transportation assistance if required – plus ukVac will be issuing anyone contributing machines with an exclusive ukVac t-shirt for the event  (watch this space for possibly even more exclusives from us!) ukVac's administrators Dom 'Rav' Escott and Oliver 'Alpha1' Moazzezi will be on hand to lead the charge and will both be sending machines (and pinballs) for the event – let's get behind these people and make a mind blowing and entertaining weekend for all!

In addition, Revival have kindly given ukVac a 50% discount coupon code (code is 'UKVAC') that can be utilised to purchase tickets at http://www.retrofusion.me.uk so even if you can’t help with machines, just supporting the event for one or both days would be fantastic!

i told them a few weeks back, naomi cosmic smash, egret 2 "single player mit virtstick, couple of pinballs and hopefully my scabby minger running moon cresta. i picked up a chassis for the rfm, gave it to jon yesterday, so hopefully up and running in a week or 2.

My stuff has already been offered. I did send Chris a pm earlier over the road with an update. My Leisure 2000 is ready (with choice of any of my pcbs) My Getaway pin has been cleaned and waxed ready. Spy Hunter is a no though as it aint working..... Unless you have any working Super Sound pcbs Olly????? They just need picking up

It's great we've now got partnership with you guys at UKVAC, as you've all been top welcoming blokes since we started mixing here regularly in the last few months! I especially am very impressed with many of your collections, which heavily feature dedicated originals as well as posh candys, pinballs and even the lovely Virtuality machine we've got coming. We have really worked to get the best arcade selection we can for Revival, and you guys are the icing on the cake - some concessional tickets and honourable mention are the least we can do for your support!

Look forward to meeting many of you guys for the first time there, and thanks to our old pals for supporting us from the start and helping us make connections here; we're gonna put on the best show we possibly can for you all and it's gonna be one to remember!

Sure, if there's room on the luton, the Blast City or Outrun, take yer pick

Only thing I will say is that only the PCB door lock works on the Blast (probably the most important one though

) and only one speaker works.
I've read the audio amp can cause this, and I'm rather hoping it is, since it easier to replace that, than a speaker.
