Ultrasonic cleaner

Looking for a 3 - 6ltr Ultrasonic cleaner, mainly to remove Flux and Oxidation from leaky Capacitors. Also any advice on cleaning products Cheers

i was contemplating in getting one but the large omes are in the several hundred range and then u need room to store them. i just stick to my tried and tested techniques.

I only need one for cleaning
Sega Mega CD Main Boards. Just to clean the Capacitor leaks Green Oxidation crap from
the Boards through hole Tracks. Under the Microscope it’s quiet bad and I’ve been
using ISO and a Pin to clear it out which is a PITA. Was looking at one of these as sweeps 30-40khz and has degassing LINK was going to go for the cheaper one but thats manual Frequency, suppose I can just press it every few min and save £100 LINK

I have one but use it mainly for cleaning carburettors i looked at those cheap chinese ones but decided to go with a used frequency sweep one from a lab instead off e bay
I find buying old expensive equipment is better than new chinese stuff

Not tried any pcbs in it yet
i use built hamber surfex hd as a diluted solution to clean everything in it
its a water based cleaner
It should work wonders on pcb,s
I cleaned all the wifes pandora stuff really well with it works on carpets and in the wash,cleaned 20 years of b&h off my recent cab with ease too robotech2021-01-21 23:33:06

Yeah seems ,most Youtube Videos people use them for carburettors

Will try not to get a Cheap Chinese one, even though most are made there anyway! Was looking a getting one from Germany or at least pay more for a branded one in the UK. Would love a Crest but way too much for the amount of times ill use it!

100% with pay more for quality! just Like the Trinocular microscope I bought, paid for an expensive one and i've used it so much and so glad I bought it and paid the extra! Changed a PS4 HDMI port last week and would never have been able to do it without this!
