Unknown Game: Catacombs

In my long standing ROM collection I have a set for game called Catacombs. This runs on Galaxian hardware. I cant find any mention of this game anywhere, its not in Mame.

I have the 4 2716 Roms, which are marked 1,2,3,5 and I have a note with them stating there is not supposed to be a number 4.

Also have character ROMs which I cant guarantee are the correct ones because they are unlabelled, and colour prom.

I have no hardware to test these on. If anyone is interested in trying, I can send dumps.

Just had a look and apparently final burn can run them.

I wonder if you rename the roms you could get them to run in mame.

I sent these roms to Macro and Junoman many years ago. I believe they added it to mame.
I would be worth sending yours to Mike as it may be a different revision.

I did get this to work by renaming files and running as galaxian. But this game does seem to be known about by Mame after all.

I cant find any reference to this in mame game lists but it does know the name and the expected names of the roms.

There is a set called catacomb in MAME, romcmp gives this output.

From a quick comparison between the two, I would say your dump is bad.
