Ok, called down earlier and the whole site is fenced off with no signs of activity. However, looking through the fencing there's some plant in the grounds so clearly it's ongoing. A couple of skips in there full to the top with building crap, i.e. rubble but no arcadey stuff. But it looks to me like they're well on with the job, I can see where they've knocked all the plaster off the walls down to bare brick. The cabs which there definitely were, will have been chucked right at the beginning no doubt. However, never the one to be satisfied with assumption, I've got the number of the site manager! Tried calling but no answer yet. I'll keep trying...

Keep at it! I've saved six populated card cages from certain death even in the last week just by a chance conversation with a contractor as he walked through the doors of a long dead and gutted arcade; if I'd come a day sooner or later they'd be probably in landfill by now or melted down for base metals.

So far hitting a brick wall - no activity when I've passed (so at least no machines, if any, are being scrapped), and no answer to the mobile number I've got.

BUT I haven't given up yet!!!! I'm gonna go on an evening and see if there's any security guards. If there is, I'll get a contact number. If not, well... I'll just have to investigate further...

Yeah, I was close by on a couple of days, the site seems devoid of much work going on as though they are waiting on something, didn't spot a convenient hole in the wall either ;)
