US Container 5 - UK Deliveries

I'm doing a head count of anyone who has anything waiting in Germany to come to the UK once the latest container has cleared customs.

We have three games coming to us.

Obviously we have to get them over here, there are others coming to the UK too so I wondered if we could combine shipping somehow.

There are a couple of different ways we could probably do it but I think I just need a count of cabs at the moment.

If there's enough then it might be possible for us to rent a van and go collect them. If we do it this way then its likely we'll bring the entire van load to us and they can be collected at your convenience.

We might be able to negotiate a better rate with a courier service for a bulk order. If we do it this way then direct delivery might be possible but rates will likely decrease again if they all come to one place.

Obviously if anyone has any other suggestions then drop them in.

Until I know what's to come across then I can't say exactly how we'll do it.

If you have things coming and already have made arrangements, we might be able to work something in with you.

What we obviously need is a fairly quick decision, I realise I mentioned this in the Q&A after our announcement video and i've been a bit work busy recently so didn't know the container had left the USA.

I'm not sure how long Thomas can house the stuff over on his side.

I'll list below any machines that people want bringing in.

Hello.

I am taking a Sente SAC II cabinet. I actually only want it for the back door, monitor and PCB. It's currently converted to Klax.

However if you guys want a Sente upright to start having Sente games in your collection (kits turn up) games like Goalie Ghost, Snake Pit, Snax N Jackson and a few others then you're welcome to the cabinet.

You would just need to put a monitor in it (19") and get a Sente mobo and the kits.

Oh and a back door

Steve, I would definitely contact Thomas direct about any that weren't sold, I don't think any got on the container though that were unsold as he has to pay for the shipping space in the container so if he had 10 unsold games that'd be 10 x shipping space out of his own pocket.

You never know, someone might have had to give back-word so something might be for sale.

James, I think I have 3 cabs to come over - but I need to double check.

Roby cocktail, Roby cabaret and a centuri Vanguard. Thomas has had these in storage for me since container 4. Obviously I will pay my share of whatever route they take.

One is never enough - not where Williams are concerned lol.

I don't think there was a thread here. I clocked them on Facebook. There was a Bank Panic but was already sold by the time I saw it. I was gutted because, you know; cowboys (grail cab )

Eventually - if still available once I find the space, there are 4 VR machines over in the USA that I want, but to get them here would cost more than the machines!!!

Any suggestions ? Although it may not happen.... as I`m not 100% if they are still available, nor do I have the space/funds ( yet )

Ok, i've had a few maybe PM's, apart from the ones i've already listed in post 1, if you definitely want us to try and group together your machines, please can you post "YES, PLEASE GET ME MY XXX CABS PLEASE" below this post, i'll need to close this off and start organising in the next day or two.

How much will it cost?

Depends on the quantity we're finally picking up.

Just to let everyone know i'm closing this off at midnight tonight and we'll start figuring out the best way to go.

We worked out that the magic number was around 10 to go get them ourselves, i'll recheck the figures, if not, we'll organise couriers. I'll ask Thomas how we go about getting them palletised at that side ready for pickup if thats how it'll be done.

We are planning to self-collect having done some basic calculations we have a realistic cost per cab for collection from Germany by our own transport.

I have PM'd each one of you with what will be the next steps, at this point its a slightly private discussion about arrangements but we'll keep this thread updated with info and progress.
