Just got a ccj £300 fine for a Cinemas car park 16 months ago.

Yep.

I have been to that car park
But my car also was crushed 14 months ago.

The cloners stole fuel from the petrol station next to the cinema .. I have no idea if it was me or the cloners in the car park .. ?

So I will pass my crime ref to the law courts and await the response .. at least I have tried
For all I know it was them watching a movie and not me

It’s getting to be a drag as a car owner going to car parks -

They all employ a diffrent style of payment and practice :-

1. Pay first display
2 . Ticket less pay when you leave ..
3 . Key in your number plate on a tablet pc when you arrive.
( this is the type the cinema had only just installed as it had changed ownership without my knowledge : car parks where all free during Covid. And cinemas where dying a death anyway .. it’s like we are the land walkers so attack them for monies !

And the machines that require
Key entry with the metal buttons and the tiny game boy moncromatic screen you cannot see in the sun ( when it is out )

then asks you to select time
Add more time
Choose debit card
Dial up modem then contacts the bank ….
Then you wait for the printer

has a tiny slid up door you can’t get your hand in!

And it’s £1.50 for 30 mins
£4.50 for 1 hour
£11 for 2 hours
£25 for 12 hours
🤬

But you have to hand it to tescos …
The no return in two hours policy is the cream of the crop!

£160 fine —- Just don’t double back if you forget the milk or bread !

It's actually quite amazing when you think not so long ago we were in caves messing about with stones. Now we have to deal with so many complex tasks just to get by day to day. No wonder anxiety is such a problem these days.

That's the idea, make it harder and more annoying so you don't bother. Making life more difficult is the plan and biggest problem allowing it is Smart Phones which will the downfall, Government talking Digital Driving Licence, well It's optional there saying until its not optional, and most dopey teens will just say yeah great everything else is own my phone. Just wish people could see Technology is not about making your life easier. so loose ya phone or have it stolen or stops working etc yeah more stress

https://www.gov.uk/government/news/digital-driving-licence-coming-this-year

Here's part of the sales pitch

Science Secretary Peter Kyle said:

Along with CDs, the Walkman and flip phones, the overflowing drawer rammed with letters from the government and hours spent on hold to get a basic appointment will soon be consigned to history. GOV.UK Wallet will mean that every letter or identity document you receive from the government could be issued to you virtually. AND IF A.I. SAYS NO!

For people who choose to use GOV.UK Wallet, they will find it easier to prove they’re entitled to benefits or check their age when buying alcohol or DIY equipment, with more security and trust than ever before. Crucially, it also opens huge opportunities to make interacting with public services much easier by putting people in control of their own data.

We will be overhauling how the public sector uses technology which is essential to delivering our Plan for Change, and in combination with this new tech for people to use themselves, we are going to slash the time people waste dealing with annoying processes so they can focus on what matters to them.
