Vulgus & Rastan - Charity High Score Comp

Hi all,

Sorry I went quiet on this, and that the games aren’t any of the suggestions. Bit selfish with the picks here I have a Vulgus board I’ve never played and I love the Rastan soundtrack.

Anyway, rules are,

RASTAN
Difficulty - Easy
Lives - 3
Continues - No
Bonus - 100k

VULGUS
Lives - 3
Bonus - 20,000/60,000
Continues - No

Give me a submission from each and the one with the lowest combined position on two tables wins.

£50 to charity of choice of the winner. I’ll think about tie breaker.

Going to leave this running for a few weeks as got lots on at the moment. But will set an end date in April soon.

Mister, Mame, Pandoras Box, Capcom collect (for Vulgus) or Egret Mini (for Rastan) is fine

Used to play Vulgus a lot in the arcade, I was not bad at it then, probably crap at it now

As in if you finish 1st in both you’ll have the lowest total of 2.

Finish 1st and 3rd and you’ll have 4 points.

I had a game of Vulgas last night. I don’t think I’ve ever played it before. It’s a great little game.

I like the way you get big multipliers for chains. That seems the route to high scores.

Thought I would get the ball rolling but damnit I missed the U and hit the V first so it’s VKV on the score. It’s beatable depending on how long you want to hang around on the levels.

I don’t have vulgus on my MAME set up (which is a pity) so can’t post a score for it and I don’t download the latest ROMs from dodgy sites.
