Warning to all buyers on forums

I am putting out a warning to all potential buyers of a certain seller that likes to rip people off

I purchased some boards from Lee-Lee (Lee Gardener) and he disappeared off the forum wouldn't reply to my PMs or anything. This all happened on Jamma+

After I posted publicly as to where he was and that I had brought some stuff and couldn't get hold of him. again he did not reply to that thread or pm me but a few days later the package arrived. in total from day of paying to day of receiving good 3 weeks had passed

It contained a Frogger Board, a Double Dragon Board and a MVS

This is the low down

The DD board was supposed to be fully working
The Frogger Board yet untested was supposed to be an original Sega/Gremlin board (that's the board that I posted on this here forum asking for help on)
and the MVS was supposed to only have a Z80 error

Well this is the crap I got from him. and to this day not heard a peep from him.

(Btw DD has now been 100% fixed)

I have not seen him here but he is on arcade otaku as well

I would hazard a guess that the pinouts match those for galaxian. Frogger on galaxian hardware is a known boot pcb. You tried reading the Roms to see what mame makes of them ?

I bought a board on here from Lee that was supposed to be a non-working Nintendo Space Firebird - it turned out to be a bootleg game called 'Fire Condor'.

To be fair to Lee though i asked for a refund, sent the board back and the refund came through in a couple of days - from what i have seen in other threads regarding the identification of this particular board i think it was a genuine mistake and he sorted it out quickly and amicably as far as i was concerned...

Just my two cents, not trying to take anything away from the facts in your case, but hopefully you will be able to come to a resolution...

I'm really horrified with what I've just seen, you've not contacted me at all. (Show me proof that you have contacted meplease) What are you talking about? I've had no messages from you at all. I've not hidden from you at all I'm here. I'm on several forums and have no reason to hide from you at all. Firstly the neo geo was sold as faulty and I told you the battery had been removed. ( you bought it for £10). Secondly. The Frogger. Was sold as untested I have never tested it as I had no adaptor. I never said it was a gremlin sega board I said it wasn't. ( if you have proof of me saying this I'd like to see it). 3 double dragon did work I tested it several times before I posted it. I'm shocked that you've actually posted this and I expect you to now contact me via messenger.

Lastly I'm not doing the slanging match on this forum as soon as you actually contact me via pm I will respond. and I hope the moderators step in as I find this unjustified and upsetting.

I've never had a problem bought a candy off him (which he delivered) and quite a few PCB's
I'm sure he'll sort any problems out

Also, (not to be siding with anyone, just stating my experience) I've bought from Lee and he always contacted me promptly when I sent a PM and always let me know what was going on.

Yes this was an honest mistake, the board was very hard to identify as soon as it was put to me that it wasn't i sorted it out.

he's on thin ice on j+ so not sure what the restrictions are over there

Always worth pm'ing the seller 1st or a mod if no response. These sort of threads should be last resort. You've only been here 2 mins so need to chill out

Lee has sold a lot of stuff and I've not come across any dodgy dealings/feedback

Thanks I'm not sure what's going off. This really is the first I've heard of any of this. Something really just don't add up

im sure all forums take warnings of sellers rather helpful
However admins and Moderators should ideally be contacted FIRST if members cannot sort any differences out between themselves

The deal wasnt done here,and the seller in question does indeed seem rather active and rather

helpful

Please take this to Pm,and if no reasonable outcome can be reached between you

please message an Admin so they can assist
