Hi All,
I’m just about to start sorting this monitor as part of a Star Wars Refurb. It came in pieces and I’m ok with the HV and deflector board connections, but there’s a yellow sheathed cable coming from what looks like a thin metal strip wrapped around the tube, it’s not the normal degaussing cable (I don’t believe?)
It’s got a terminal connector on the other end, but for the life of me I can’t see where it would have gone, also looking at (a lot) of other pictures of this monitor and Chassis, I can’t see it.

Anyone know what this is and where it needs to connect to?
Any help much appreciated!

They were my thoughts initially. There’s already a separate connection to the chassis and there isn’t a specific connector On the neck board for it to go.
I can see that the thin flat metal strap is hooked to the spring that goes around the tube, just can’t see where the single terminal connector would attach and i must have looked at 50+ pics and vids of people fixing/putting together these types of monitors, but can’t see this connector.

That was one of my thoughts from looking at the manual, but I can't see anywhere on the neck board for that type of connector to go.

Looking at the neck-board, there is already a cable that is grounded to the chassis, also there's a separate black cable that's grounded to the same place on the chassis which isn't connected to anything (bare wire), so I assume that's come out of the other connector on the neck board - circled both red in the pic.

🤷‍♂️
