I personally had more than 20 UFO encounters since I was a kid, which three of them was like "WTF" One when I was about 10 years old and three as a teen. Personally that changed my life and opened my mind for whole life, and I'm very happy that this subject is finally being discussed on such high level and being brought to the public as a serious matter.

I saw a shooting star once up on Westbury White Horse, also had quite a few hallucinations but they were drug related.
What people forget is that UFO means unidentified flying object.
It doesn't mean alien ship since that would be an identified flying object.
Any unexplained object becomes a UFO so when the military or government talk about them it's about how to see if they can identify what the UFO actually was,not to talk about aliens.

I am a believer , We are certainly not of this world I think we were dropped off here. To think we are the only ones in the universe is just silly , Way to much evidence out there. You only have to look in cave painting made thousands of years ago for the answers. A large percentage of ' Sightings' can be explained but there is still far to many that cant , And i believe , are real. Unfortunately you have the people who want to get views on craptube faking stuff & then people who genuinely having no clue what they have seen so they label it as a UFO / UAF / USO.
I was unaware they were disusing this in congress but I will say no matter what they discuss they will only give us the information they want to give us that will mislead us as always

Although i'd put myself in the camp of 'I have no idea' but to my knowledge there is no unambiguous evidence of life on other planets at all. Is there?? We don't even have a universally accepted definition of what life is, let alone have any idea if it exists elsewhere.
Based on the sheer number of stars like our sun, there must be somekind of 'life' out there just on probability alone. Perhaps there is an exact copy of our earth, with an exact copy of me, only that version of me owns a minty model 3 Spikeout board... prick.

Its always a hard one as there is always them that say " Your stupid thinking there is such a thing " and " Where is the evidence ? So much evidence in caves that , I am prety sure , They did not paint and right for the sake of youtube views !
My major point was 95% of signting are proven to be something else , But there is still the 5%. I am not saying the 5% are all real I am just saying what else can it be ?

.But the lack of evidence can co-exist with belief that if Earth and life on it was created due to some cosmic chain of events, then it's more likely that given all the millions of stars and planets those conditions would have been replicated again somewhere. So on the fence if you like or 'I don't know'. You've explained yourself very clearly - no need to apologise. You have not watched enough Ancient Aliens mate !!! There is so much on there and other programs that gives lots of evidence , What you do with the evidence is up to you. If there was catagorical evidence we would not be having this conversation I suppose.

Evidence is something that shows an assertion to be true.
Cave paintings and unexplained sightings are not evidence of life outside this planet.
The vast amount of planets in the known universe is not evidence for life outside this planet.
I agree the odds of life being out there (Europa maybe) must be high but until we actually observe and interact with aliens then it's just an unsupported assertion.
