Hi does anyone know what this is?

I thought it may be an audio board, any ideas?

Its from a Zac cocktail which has an MTC 90 in it.

At a guess, I'd say some sort of power regulator.

Not sure an cocktail sound amplifier would need a cap that big..

Don't take my word for it though - probably best to wait for someone to answer who can categorically say.

ok thanks guys, think i will have to trace the wires.
see problem i have is it has 2 wires whichhave been pulled from a socket and i am unsure where they go.

i only want the monitor working.

There is no mention of this board in the MTC90 manual.

Pretty sure that board is the power board for the game PCB (and probably audio too) and nothing to do with the monitor. Don't know what that cable / plug is you have in your hand there.

It's kind of difficult to tell from just the odd snap of a bit of the cab here and a bit of the cab there. And to be honest, it's dangerous for us to guess.

thanks guddler, i recieved the cab with all monitor wires pulled out and tube disconnected.
the monitor seems to have had all the caps replaced as they all look new so i would really like to keep it if i can get it going.

the game pcb is missing but everything else seems to be there.

it is a zac quasar cocktail.

i will connect everything up and get a better photo uploaded.

I don't know if there's enough parts on the PCB in your pic to match that schematic, but it's close, so my monies still on it being the power PCB.

Pretty sure Paul Swan will know when he spots this thread as he's a bit of a Zaccaria expert.

To be honest, it's not a complicated PCB, you should be able to trace it through and work out what the pins are easy enough. If it IS what it is though then as I said earlier, it won't have anything to do with the monitor.

thanks for your help everyone, i traced it all and connected it all up but unfortunatly the monitor is dead.

i'm going to remove it and put something else in until i can find another crt monitor.

i was going to put a tv in and connect via scart but i dont think the picture would be the same.
