Got the chance of picking one of these up, what sort of value do these have.

Being new to pins I am a bit green.

Thanks

Thanks for that.

I have just had a look at it and the cabinet is in good nick, a few bulbs out and all the rubbers perished but I guess that's easy to fix.

My biggest concern is the artwork on the bed itself has a crack across the middle of the table starting from the centre, some of the artwork has lifted ever so slightly. What would be the best way to seal the artwork to stop furthrer chipping and peeling when the ball runs over it.

Thanks

Dan

To be honest mate, if its for home use I wouldn't bother. Its not going to get any worse with a few plays a day. The wear you speak of sounds like planking, which is a wood defect from the factory. You could clear coat it, or Mylar it but that's a huge Faff for what is never gonna be a rare or desirable game. I used to have a mint spare playfield for it but gave it away!! I think he still has it if you're interested I'll put you in touch.

The game has a fairly shallow Rule set so prob won't hold your interest for too long. Just play it and enjoy it for what it is.

Yes it is for home use and will be my first pin. As it's local and if I can do a deal on it then I think your right I'll just enjoy it for what it is, would be interested to find out if the spare playfield is still about as it would make a nice winter project to strip it and do the rubbers and play field all in one go.

It's been in store for about 15 years in a garage.

If you get it for a good price don't be afraid of the planking! You will find a minty pf to swap into it. I had one but sold it last year for £150! That was the entire PF too! So don't be afraid!

If it is a good price but it. I wouldn't pay £500 for a machine with a cracked playfield. It needs to be much cheaper.

Good luck.

I used to have one and thought it was ok.

Get it under £500 especially seeing it needs re-rubbering etc. It would be great if you could get it for £250-350.

If you get it let me know and i'll put you in contact with the guy that took my minty playfield - I believe he still has it.
