On top of this some parts arrived. I also have a mirror finished chromed lockdown bar to fit

So now I have the following left to do.

1. Fit DMD

2. Fit pcbs

3. push playfield wiring back up to backbox ready to connect to pcbs.

4. Install the flippers

5. Install the ball trough

6. Install the apron (post dedicated to this coming..)

7. I still need a POA opto board - must get one.

8. Turn the thing on and sort out any niggles.

9. Fully fit the flipper buttons and install the opto boards for them.

10. Check out playfield glass and see if it is ok, or get a new one cut.

11. Put all the new serial and other associated stickers back on her to make her complete.

I'm still planning on fitting a pinball pro speaker kit too.

Stay tuned.

First up the serial stickers have arrived!

....

Hello Alpha,

First of all, what a great restoration!

I'm also restoring an Indiana Jones and your topic is very usefull with tons of information.

I have a question about the serial stickers, where did you buy them?

Thank you very much for in advance.

Nice restoration!! Will be a brand new game when finished. The only things I don't like is the yellow paint inside the cabinet and the chromed coin door/painted voltage box inside the cabinet. I like to have it original.

Interesting is that I have the exact type of playfield on my IJ you have too (white superjackpot insert, 'invisible' printing on green insert arrow towards captive ball, ..).

As my machine has the cut outs in the display wooden panel for the jackpot lights, the lost plastic and rope bridge lightning by default, it's indead an early.

I've seen one other instance of this playfield: http://www.micsaund.com/games/IJ/IJ_PicGal/roberts_beta.php

This one has more protoitems like the metal path of adventure guides.

I also noticed a difference in the plastics around the captive ball/unde right ramp on mine. It has more orange dots in the artwork compared to the plastics used in the later part of the IJ run. Yours has it too.

Good luck with this project!

I thought it best to paint the inside as the smell of the soaked in soda and oil spills wasn't very nice.

I really like the chrome hehe, I think i'll do it to my TZ also.

Not much of an update here at the moment as I put all the WPC pcb boards in a box for safe keeping - and I now cannot find the box

So currently I cannot progress until I find the box!

An update to say there is no update. I can't find the boards I packed away. I put them all safe in a nice box along with some other parts boards and bits I picked up and now I don't know what I did with them
