One of my all-time favourite machines, and one that i promised myself i would own someday - Sinistar!

Bought from a member here, it needs quite a bit of work on the woodwork, t-molding and possibly a joystick service, but to say i am happy is a bit of an understatement

I am having to sort out driving lessons and a car for the mrs so the restoration work will have to wait, but at least i can play the thing to death in the meantime!!

As has already been said. Unless it's rough from the wait down then I wouldn't touch it. Looks great. Certainly doesn't look like it needs T-Molding!!

Don't restore all the character out of it

no worries - you got any candy cabs? If so fancy lending some to the 'slam?

i have thought about it as i have offered the sinistar - the difference is the sinister goes in and out of the room not too bad, whereas i have to take the door frame off to shift the astro city, or split it in 2 which is a real pain...

Ill have another go at moving it over the next couple of days and see how i get on - if i can shift it into my garage then I'm happy for it to attend if transport from Folkestone for the cabs can be arranged...
