Wonder Boy HSS patch. Which RAM?

I want to use Arcade ROM Patcher to get high score saves and freeplay on my Wonder Boy PCB, which is the version shown here...

For High score saves, Arcade ROM Patcher says to replace the RAM at IC89, but that's just a socket on my board that the daughter board plugs into. It also says use a DS1225 nvram, but that doesn't seem right. Are IC135 and IC136 shown here the program RAM?

I guess I need to replace one of these with a DS1220, but I don't know which one. Anyone who has done this patch know?

Thats a PPI board so it will be IC136.
And yes it's a 2Kx8 so DS1220, M48Z02, U63716DC etc.
