Didn't notice this in Arcade at first.
It's 99% likely to have a centre positive conductor if it's a barrel socket connector. No point sticking power on the outside where it can short
But you can always open it up to be sure.
The manufacturer's site says it's 12VDC https://www.xeltek.com/pages.php?pageid=255
And the device won't draw more current than it needs, so I reckon you could burn the oldest power hungry NMOS EPROMs with a 12VDC@1A PSU.
