Looks nicely designed and well put together system, i'd certainly play a few credits.
Appears to be using new custom embedded system, so not a standard PC as I had originally thought.
The gameplay and online tournaments looks fun and better than I had expected, and featuring winning tokens is quite a smart move, but lacking a vector display is always going to lose some of the charm.
Clearly it's aimed at the 'classic' player, as I can't see it being immediately appealing to a wide audience. I could be wrong, but I think for the younger generation it could need somebody to introduce it "here's a classic game you should try", the controls are a bit tricky etc..
Can't really complain about having a new arcade game, so good on Alan-1.
Of course if the real Atari were still making arcade games and had a suitable budget they would be doing something cutting edge, and for this era.
It would involved some new display technology and controls no doubt.
