Putting together a yoke flipper.

I know the rule is to flip with the monitor off :D

Anyone know how much voltage is present on the yoke wires and how much the current drain is ? Need to dimension the 4PDT properly.

It depends on the CRT size. For 25" (59cm viewable) CRTs the values for the horizontal yoke (which is the more power hungry of the two) are between 4 and 5A:

For 28" CRTs (66cm viewable) values are similar:

For 29" CRTs (68cm viewable) the horizontal yoke current is above 5A:

Horizontal yoke voltage for bigger CRTs (25"-29") is at least 1200Vpp. Just look at the collector-emitter ratings for the various HOTs (and capacitors connected to it), they're usually 1500V.

Thank you MKL, much appreciated

One question, when switches are specified they give the voltage/current.

Is this the max voltage/current when they switch on a live circuit ?

I was thinking of using a 4PDT rated at 125V/2A but only switching when the monitor is off.
