Story for ya

One of the guys I worked with, turned out he used to be in the Arcade Business. So he starts telling me about the workshop he had in Birmingham full of arcade machines.

Turns out he scrapped all the jamma cabs etc and kept all the good machines. Problem is the workshop is behind a house and the access is over the land, he sold the house and left the workshop full of machines

I told him to get them out and i'll help sell them, but he couldn't be bothered

No, not really, he just wasnt interested at all. I told him I could sell them, he said there was stuff like outrun etc

It's a few years back now as well, he left work so not spoke to him. Such a shame really

The guy I got the last Buggy Boy from, said he stored a load of machines in a rented trailer, I think he bought a job lot from XY-Man when he cleared his unit and moved to USA. Reckoned he hadn't paid the rent and the owner took the trailer full of machines

where was the community when XY-Man sold his huge load of machines, I know luke had the Sherrif machine, I had Champ Sprint from him, but he had some awesome stuff in there that this guy bought as he claimed, and I guess AW probably got in there too

Shame aload on here didn't bulk buy that lot really

Must get back in contact with a guy I built some digital jukeboxes for a while ago. His brother claimed to have a lockup full of old cabs from bitd. They were from his Father In Law, who used to do the fairgrounds.

Update:

Got prices for all the vids. Apparently if we take them all (minus the sega rally and the suzuka shown in the pix) we can have all the fruities for free.

I'll up the prices when I get a chance over the weekend.

Even if i don't get a cab out of this i would like to be involved, even if its just shifting stuff about - would be nice to just see the cabs even if they don't end up as mine. If its in the South then give me a shout if you want some muscle on the day...
