Collected the last of the cabinets yesterday with Martin, first job was to dig them out of the shed at the end of the garden and get them down 2 sets of steps. Out in the daylight the cabinets look dry, relatively undamaged but filthy.

The 2 I am particularly excited about, the Streets Defender and Space Attack are looking good, solid, no wobbles and very little damage to the cabinet shells. The Space Panic doesn't disintegrate when moved which is a good thing as it's already sold to another UKVAC member!

All 6 cabinets onto the truck with no traumas, but I'm still missing a leg from the Asteroids cabinet I picked up earlier. So now I have 2 Asteroids Cockrails and 3 legs.

Now to get them home!

I have one of those type Joysticks for Defender if you need it for the cab, I think it's in half decent condition but can dig out and post pics

It's not quite as good as I thought but not too bad, re chrome is expensive, another option is maybe getting it stripped and polished up, amazing how good metal can look highly polished, which can be done yourself

I've got it apart and cleaned it as thought it was just seized up, however the base is a little worn so the joystick bottom curved part goes through the hole more than it would when new leaving it loose as the spring can't push the underside part up enough, so I've drilled it a little and now it does centre, so a little more drilling will improve more

Thought I'd post pics here also for reference on what these sticks look like, that's if it's the same as your streets defender underneath the panel. It's got restrictor plates to make it 2 way, but they come off and micro's with levers can go in place as it's cut out so 4 way also

I can take shaft out now and post it large letter and as it's not the best condition so free to good home
