This one has been in storage for quite some time, this week I finally
got a chance to get it cleaned up and reassembled. Spent about 9 hours
on it to get it nice and shiny using all the usual muddy cleaning
processes.

It's going to be a great little party cab over the
summer so should see lots of use when people come over. It really
couldn't fit any better in the room as there's good space all around to
play other cabs.

I wanted to make sure that people could be
around all sides of it without having to shift other stuff out the way
so it's literally the centrepiece of my collection now, and I'm really
glad I decided to fit a socket in the ceiling at the centre of the room
so no cable to trip over.

Thanks to Milky who helped me do an
extremely tricky bit of assembly when it was time to fit the topper
unit, it had to be perfectly level to slot in so there's no way I'd have
managed it on my own.

Here's a few pics, I'm sure some of you will get to play this soon

cool mate, never played that game but if its as fun as Champ Sprint it'll be good

If I had the space that 2 player would of been in my collection, like different cabs like that

Awesome machine Olly. There's one of these beasts at Arcade Club, I love it.

Get four people on it and it's a real hoot, the power ups make it really competitive too.

Really cool cab to have as a centrepiece to a game room - used to love these kind of multi-player games in arcades back in the day. In those days there always seemed plenty of kids milling around willing to join in too

Awesome, I'd love one of these! I assume this is a
different one to the one that was at Play Expo last year? SO there's at
least two of these out there!

I have a sort of kit now for cab cleaning, this is what I use frequently.

Henry with soft brush attachment gets the most use.
A medium sized round point brush
Novus 1,2,3
Microfibre cloths
Mr. Sheen
T-Cut
0-Grade wire wool
Magic Eraser
Yellow Dusters
And probably most important to get cabs looking nice...
Time & patience

Big thumbs up from me for magic erasers. You won't believe they could work until you try them for yourself. They only cost a quid for two and with a little water you're away! Very good on Sega seat plastics and side panels.

Novus is also very good for bringing back that glossy new shine to plastics.Outrun22015-05-01 16:30:18

Just had a quick look on eBay for magic eraser and it comes up with magic eraser sponges.

Is this the correct item you are using on your cabs?

Sorry to go off topic but they sound good.

if they are little square white sponges i would say yes, they are good but if you rub too hard they tend to fall apart so buy a few , i have used them for car detailing in the past and they are as good as people say
