God it's depressing looking at that photo of Big Run. Suffice to say I took delivery of it today and the base has been rather violently ripped away from the cab. Apparently it was like that when Martin picked it up. The wood is totally destroyed, it'll need a new base and probably lots of brackets or extra wooden runners to put it back together.

I'd guess it was leaned back and the pedal area caught on something.

No way! It was okay when we were there on the day, I'm sure of it. Got any pics? Bit worried for my hang on now

That one was in the back office, it looked in superb condition but I didn't ever see it moved so perhaps that wasn't noticable when we looked at it.

Thats the sort of thing that happens to me

The last machines I had were scrap, total scrap, the back side of the cab had a big chunk missing out of it, control panel painted red, the monitors in both had screen burn and I think both tubes were shot, poor picture and out of focus, I'm guessing the boards are probably faulty, the steering wheels were crap, there was pretty much nothing I could sell from them apart from the wheel mechs

Good job I only wanted the 3D glasses, cost enough though

This is the gamble you take, without seeing something and committing to buying it

My last cab had virtually everything broken - PCB, monitor, tube, power supply, switcher, and the cab wasn't in the best of conditions either with rust.

I guess the difference is whether it is salvageable or not, and whether you are prepared to do work on it, and spend more money that what is is probably worth to resell

I hope you can get yours sorted

this must have happened at the ops. They must have moved it after we all left.. Hopefully you can fix the base. Post pix and we can work out the best way of replacing it.
