On the 15th August 2004, I had invited a few friends round. Rav and P-man and a few others.
We had a knock at the door about 11:15pm. There was this German bloke and behind him in the road a 40ft artic lorry.
Turns out he decided to deliver the cabs I had done as a bulk buy from Germany 2 days early..
I was SOOOO glad I had people round otherwise i'd have been f**ked.

I'll dig some out this evening as they're on my games PC. Oddly enough, I was only browsing them last night!!
I'm not sure I have any of the first (only?) UKVAC community bulk buy though. Does anyone else? I guess that needs to be aimed at P-Man or D-Type seeing as they were the only other ones with me
They'd be worth seeing but I have a feeling we were so concerned about how overloaded the van was that I don't know if we took photos of it.

That first UKVAC bulk buy you mention - is that the one with the EDOT and a Granny and the Gators? I think P-man has those pix - should get them uploaded.
I don't recall bringing an eDOT back, though I do recall mention of it. I think that was just Frank (Suffling?) on his own, or maybe with Scotty Green the year before. For sure on the first trip I did the seller wanted us to take a cab for Frank as he assumed we all knew each other! I'm sure I remember Andy and Phil being with me so it must have been the first trip. He'd been over previously - presumably for the eDOT - but hadn't had room for the last cab and there it was sat. That was actually the first I'd ever heard of him.
