Coars sand
Fine sand and then polish
I’m gonna get new glass so I might as well have a good go at the original as well .

Yeah, it’s taking the face down by however many microns are needed, rather than filling with resin.
Much less fuss on an arcade machine than a car - some places refuse to even try on deep windscreen scratches.

De formation I think is the issue ..
I have tried in past and if you get a dip it’s an issue ..

Flatness is the key

Structural integrity is the risk for cars. Doesn’t matter for a cocktail table unless you’re going to sand 4mm off it and then do a dance on top of it.

I just looked and I can spin the whole glass pain around 180 and worst scratch is then out of the way on far side of table ..

So I may have a crack at it

I brought a Taito cocktail cabinet about 8 years ago and the guy I brought from had gone to the trouble of having a new piece of glass etched with the Taito logo which looks very decent.
