South-West Raid August 12th 2015.

Just sorting some photos out on my phone and realised I never wrote this raid up.

This is when we managed to save a whole heap of Electrocoin Midi cabs last year. Was a operator both me and Alpha1 know well in the South-West, he wanted to clear his lockup sharpish so a deal was agreed for all the cabs in there (including some real sh*t), van was booked and we headed down a few days later.

In attendance were: muddymusic, Alpha1, Guddler, tb2000.

Here's some pics I grabbed during the day, there was some very interesting stuff there, and we were rummaging around for hours. Only what was agreed on the cabs came away with us, the other stuff definitely wasn't for sale, but is interesting to look at nonetheless.

I *think* I may know this operator? Is he called John?

I've had chats with him and he said he knew both muddy and alpha1

Hes got a lot of other good stuff aswell

Nice guy. Got lots of interesting stories to tell...if it is the same guy

Cool pics - nice to see where the midi you sold me came from! :)

I've powder coated the metalwork, remade the control panel, fitted locks, new perspex, new PSU, optional 2huwman Jamma PC and of course swapped in the art you sent me since then!

It's great to know all the cabs in the pics went to forum members

It was certainly a one off getting a big load of the same cab and in such great condition. The op bought them all new and they used to be all in one long row in his arcade much like in the last photo.

Did someone pickup one of them Chicken Egg toy dispenser things? Can just see it in the back/front of the van.
Yes indeed, it went off to someone on here. Was the heaviest most awkward thing to move on the day but was glad we took it in the end.

looks good now dude, the dust covers for the joysticks should be on the outside of the control panel though

sorry couldn't keep that quiet, I would have been lying awake at night if I hadn't said anything
