South-West Raid August 12th 2015.
Just sorting some photos out on my phone and realised I never wrote this raid up.
This is when we managed to save a whole heap of Electrocoin Midi cabs last year. Was a operator both me and Alpha1 know well in the South-West, he wanted to clear his lockup sharpish so a deal was agreed for all the cabs in there (including some real sh*t), van was booked and we headed down a few days later.
In attendance were: muddymusic, Alpha1, Guddler, tb2000.
Here's some pics I grabbed during the day, there was some very interesting stuff there, and we were rummaging around for hours. Only what was agreed on the cabs came away with us, the other stuff definitely wasn't for sale, but is interesting to look at nonetheless.
The cabs.
Various spares.
A wild Alpha1 spotted roaming freely in his native territory.
Many Neo carts.
Loading the van.
Right up to the door with spare tubes.
More kit.
Boxes full of NOS bezels and pinball backglasses
Heaps of parts everywhere - none of this was for sale.
The mother of all component storage cabinets!
Stacks of old pinballs
Various roms, and then some cool documents with hand drawn schematics and some annotated code.
Big row of midi cabs
