A perfect length podcast, started it at Clapham Junction and it quite literally ended as I put the keys in my back door.
Sad to see Alex go, (was it because he was getting beaten so much on the high score front!
) Mind you saying that I reckon Vic will now be in that place getting hammered by Shaun's scores
Welcome Shaun.
I agree with the above comment Shaun found his feet as the podcast progressed, quite nice in a way to have just him and Alex in the Play soundbite at the end together, almost like passing the torch.
Whats all this talk of no dedicated cabs or collecting stuff, Shaun Holly the listeners demand you start! haha.
In regards to retro holiday towns, there's a whole Island didn't you know.....The Isle of Wight!
Joking aside I love going there and getting that old skool feeling.
I actually had my stag doo in Margate in Aug 2006, as I wanted some old skool fever, the place with the roller coaster (dreamland?) was still open back then and had a few older arcade cabs in it, not masses. If that's the place they are trying to revive, that's great news. (just looked up when it closed, I must have just got in there before it finally shut down, as me and my mates went on the rollercoaster like they do in Only Fools & Horses). Shame to see part of that burnt down.
